07/01/2007: The price for a new machine has risen to $2295.00 and

Did you say "home
run"?: Spring, 2006--You asked for it and it should be ready
soon... An optional, stand-alone unit to increase pigtail length for those home
runs and other uses. UPDATE: Currently
being tested and the results look very promising! The price will be $595.00--Pre-Order to save $50 off the price.

Diamond Cut-off Blades?:
There are several companies already using a "diamond" blade on
their MC Cable Cutter & Pigtailers. We're testing a couple
different brands. These are not cheap at $30-$40 but cut cleanly
without burning and last indefinitely. UPDATE:

"Extra"
Spring-Loaded Hold-Downs?: There is room for additional hold-downs
on the drill frames and many customers think it should be a
"standard" item to include four of them instead of the standard
two. These items are one of the reasons our machine works so well and
"extras" help when cutting very curly cable and aid
consistency. They do limit the minimum pigtail length due to the saw
motor on the left side but this can be easily adjusted for. We will
soon be incorporating these "extras" into our standard machine and
maybe offering a "lite" version without them and other
accessories. This will increase the price of the machine to $1995.00,
probably in May. UPDATE: We've developed
an adjustable plate to mount on the other side of the spring-loaded
hold-downs instead of an extra pair. The problem we found was that
user effort was too great with two pair and adjustment was too
time-consuming. These will be available as an accessory for machines
that didn't come with them.

Counters
and Coilers: The "Length-of-Whip Counter Kit" is a popular
option. Also available is a "Number-of-Whip Counter
Kit". Another popular item is the Olympic #99 Take-up Reel

Replacement
Drills and Notching Blades: Hitachis are now the standard drill and
Makitas are optional. We still have some discontinued Black &
Decker drills for those with older machines. Buy a spare today!

Replacement
Saw and Cut-off Blades: To date, we have not heard of anyone
replacing a Milwaukee cut-off saw. Even then, it comes with a 5-year
warranty from the manufacturer. Visit the Saw

available fiber or diamond cut-off blades.
