What's New?

Please refer to this page for the most recent news and information...

What's New:

(updated 12/17/2007 )

  • NEW! Because of metal and hardware prices that have continued to rise an average 50% in the past year, effective July 1, 2007 the price of a new machine will rise to $2295.00. The price of the yet-to-be-released HomeRun King will rise to $795.00 as well as some accessories and parts. Although we only use it for testing, MC Cable itself has risen about 100%!

  • NEW! Orders or inquiries placed before July 1, 2007 will be honored at the old price list effective January 1, 2007. Please be sure to download the new price sheet available and effective July 1, 2007.

  • NEW! Because we produce our machine in "batches" we are often back-ordered a month or so. Please place your order or inquiry with this in mind... Checks used for pre-payment are not cashed until we ship the machine.

  • NEW! To keep costs down, we still do not accept credit cards although we can accept PayPal for a 3.5% fee on the total. If you have established credit with us in the past and have paid promptly, we will gladly bill you.

  • NEW! To encourage pre-payment, which helps us keep costs down (ie: we are not a bank), the pre-payment discount has risen to 5% (It was 3%) effective with orders placed after January 1, 2007. We often give preference to pre-paid orders!

  • NEW! To avoid confusion, effective January 1, 2007, we have eliminated the 1% within 10 days discount. It was probably taken advantage of no more than 2 or 3 times since we offered it. Why not just pre-pay and save an additional 4%?

  • Please note the new price sheets effective 07/01/06. Although we are trying to not raise the price above $2000.00, rampant metal price increases may REQUIRE us to raise the price of the MCCC&P before the summer is up so be sure to place your order now. That would be two increases within a year which is unprecedented. To put that into perspective, the first version of the machine sold for $1600.00 in the year 2000 and the price has gradually increased to what it is now. Keep in mind that $50.00 of the increase is the estimated cost of the shipping container and a new machine has all of the updates and revisions that we have developed since then.

  • It has come to our attention that some of you are not using your machines. (1) Call us to see what we can do to help you get it up and running and by all means download instructions or whatever you need to find out how to safely use it. An unused machine does no one any good. (2) With that in mind, we will buy your old machine from you. Call us for a quote--we WILL need some digital photos Emailed to us to determine condition.

  • As of October 1st, 2005, the price of a new machine increased to $1995.00.  This is due to increased costs of metals, machining and fabrication costs and other components and also packaging costs and labor.  If we happen to be back-ordered when you call, place your order anyway to be put in the queue for the next available machine.  Machines from an existing batch will remain at $1950.00 until sold.  Feel free to prepay by check or money order and save yourself 3%.  Call or fax us for a quote.  Local Florida discounts still apply to local companies who pick up their unpackaged machine in person.

  • Check out the recently updated Pre-Fab web page.  Check out the new pictures!

  • It's almost ready! Our new homerun/standalone cutter!  We are calling it the Homerun King! Initial testing is VERY promising.  The price is $595.00 ready-to-work.  Call or fax to pre-order for a $50 discount--expected delivery: January 1, 2006.  UPDATE: Due to patent processing, delivery has been delayed on this item...  Keep checking the Products web page for more info.

  • YES--we are still in business!!!  The hurricanes of 2004 and related damage put us behind by a few months but we are mostly caught up!  Thank you so much for your patience and understanding over the last year!  Fortunately the 2005 hurricane season has not been a factor.

  • UPDATE: As of January 1, 2005 we are no longer offering the 30-day trial to potential customers because it was too easily misused.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  We will still buy your old or used machine from you--the price we give you will depend on condition--call for details...

  • ATTENTION!!!  Click HERE to read about patent infringement.  Infringing on our patent is the same as stealing from us (and our kids!)--PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!  We have a contingency fund set up to allow us to bring infringing companies to court.  We will also be posting their names on our "Company Hall of Shame" page so stay tuned.

  • ATTENTION!!!  We have a limited number of semi-prepped Black and Decker DR450 drills available to our customers.  Although very reliable, these sometimes need replacement especially in older machines (over 3 years old).  Now is the time to pick up a brand-new spare or spares because we have them all and when they are gone--they are gone!  Our price to you is $70.00 each.  Add for arbors and hardware (see the Order Form).

  • ATTENTION!!!  We also have new, thicker updated V-blocks for older machines (35") at a deep discount.  Now is the time to cure that sag you may have experienced with the older, thinner V-block.  Measure yours to see if these will fit. Mention this page and get 50% off the price in the Order Form.  Call for more info.  New machines come with the updated, thicker and longer V-block (35.5").

  • As of October 1st, 2004, the price of a new machine increased to $1900.00 This is due to increased costs of metals and other components and also packaging costs and labor.  If we happen to be back-ordered when you call, place your order anyway to be put in the queue for the next available machine.  Feel free to prepay by check or money order and save yourself 3%.  Local Florida discounts still apply to local companies who pick up their unpackaged machine in person.  See the following line for more info on shipping.

  • Because of a rash of damaged-in-transit machines we have had to redesign our packaging.  Hopefully the new package will prevent any damage during shipping.  Unfortunately, it adds about 25 pounds to the shipping weight.  Additionally, we are now using DHL--Let us know how you like their service!  Their rates with the heavier packaging seem to be the same as UPS's with the old packaging.

  • We've moved!  Effective September 1, 2003 our new address is McCUTTER, Inc., 1930 N. Kingway Drive, Deltona, FL  32738, Phone: (407) 474-6400, Fax: (386) 575-3040.  Please change your contact information accordingly.

  • IN-HOUSE TESTING YIELDS 6-WHIPS-A-MINUTE!  In an 8-hour day this could equate to 2880 whips!  This was done in a controlled setting using 12-2 Alum. MC, 9" pigtails, 3' whips and included removing the pigtail "scraps" from the whips.  Realistically, you can expect to easily cut 4 whips a minute--especially when cutting longer whips (1920 a day).  See the video (prefab.mpg) from our Downloads page.

  • GET $1000.00 OFF A NEW MACHINE!!!  Click HERE to find out how!

  • Length-of-Whip and Number-of Whip Counters are now ready for purchase.  Click HERE for the counter page.  Details and Pictures will appear soon or call for more info and latest price.

  • If you have an MC Cable Cutter & Pigtailer please take the time to fill out our Customer Survey.  Click HERE to download the survey (31k, Word 95/6.0 doc).  Completed surveys earn a free pair of blades from us!  Your answers help us make our machine an even better value for current and new users.  Survey results and user tips can be found HERE.  UPDATE: Look for the most recent survey in your mailbox this January.
